I use supplements for energy.
Almost all of us could use more energy, am I right?
This is my recommendation and my story.
Because of the massive difference supplements made to my life, I also sell those same supplements.
As I began to feel better, I was able to implement lifestyle changes that I would never have had the energy to do previously.
I Didn’t Believe It
My husband brought me supplements home to try one day and I looked at him like he was crazy.
Especially since in the past he was quoted as saying:
“He treats his body like an amusement park.”
Solid recommendation right?
Well I didn’t just take his word for it.
If I needed a recommendation, most people would say just ask your doctor.
Yes, if you have a specific medical condition this is a good recommendation.
But many doctors have something like one unit of nutritional training during their entire studies.
In hospitals they defer to nutritional specialists.
In GP clinics most often they won’t support the recommendations of a supplement, this is mostly to do with liability.
There are so many supplements for energy out there, of varying quality and helpfulness. So doctors are best off just saying no.
This doesn’t mean a supplement for energy won’t be helpful, but that they can’t afford the liability.
In lots of cases we need, or at least want advice from our doctors on taking a supplement for energy.
I didn’t, I don’t have any health issues, and I make sure that any supplement I take is real natural food-based. I checked out the owners, the ingredients and got to know the results people were getting.
As it is just food, I was unlikely to have any side effects that I wouldn’t find with normal food.
A better question is to ask when seeking advice is:
“Is this safe for me to take with my medical history?”
“I am going to take this, will you monitor me?”
If you’re worried about how they might react with a medication you’re taking, consult a pharmacist.
They are experts in contraindications for medications.
How To Get The Right Advice
Dr Andreas Boettcher completed his undergraduate degree in health/exercise science and ran his own Sports/Family Wellness Center.
He went on to deal with his own autoimmune condition and then become an iron man triathlete and men’s physique competitor.
He has put together a helpful video called ‘Who to Trust for Nutritional Advice.’ Check it out for some more details on the details of how to get good advice on taking supplements from the experts.
Okay enough of the boring stuff.
Does it actually work?
Do Supplements for Energy Actually Work?
When Luke brought that supplement home for me to try I was literally having microsleeps at the wheel driving back and forth from the hospital.
I felt stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Mackenzie was 6 months old, with no routine, waking 6 times a night.
Matthew was in and out of hospital 50% of the time. When he was at home, I spent 2 hours a day on the phone to people on his team.
I couldn’t pull over and have a power nap when I got tired because Mackenzie would just scream!
Two weeks after I started taking the supplement, he woke me up at 4am for a snow trip.
For the first time ever I didn’t snap, I sat up in the front seat chatty and chirpy the whole 3 hour drive.
I normally got my doona, pillow and crawled into the backseat and nobody talks to me, or I’ll bite their head off.
I felt like I was getting a full nights sleep, the quality had improved so much!
Even though nothing in my circumstances had changed.
The energy that I got in the morning was mind blowing to me, it cleared my head, I could think straight.
It began to change my outlook on life, I was able to get out of the isolation I was feeling and down the track, I was able to start exercising again.
When You Realise How Tired You Are
When you’re looking for supplements for energy there are the defaults that most people look too: caffeine, guarana & sugar.
These things can have side effects, and long term can cause issues that make you more tired and have less energy.
The next thing that can be very helpful is more sleep, eating well and exercising.
But hang on a moment – the problem is “I don’t have energy, I can’t drag myself off to exercise & I can’t change my sleep situation.”
This is where supplements for energy come in. It’s like a boost towards the healthy lifestyle your body really needs.
Ingredients like Asian ginseng, vitamin B12, vitamin D, Coenzyme Q10, magnesium, iron, Rhodiola Rosea, ashwagandha, antioxidant-rich berries, pine pollen all said to help support increased energy.
A quick google will show that some are hard to find, come in compressed tablets that are hard for our bodies to breakdown and digest or just plain way too expensive on their own.
The supplement for energy that I take is loaded with these ingredients and only $7 per day for over $300AUD of fruits and vegetable cold-pressed (so they don’t lose their nutrients) and packaged (like juicing in a pouch) so it only takes me 90 seconds a day to take.
They come together as a package called the Triangle of Health.
The first part is Sunrise.
You take it in the morning, tear off the top and drink it like a shot.
Sometimes I add mine to some sparkling water.
It has twenty-two different fruits and vegetables.
This blueberry infusion tastes like Ribena and is created so that you will get all the vitamins (10) and minerals (74) that you need for during the day.
Including vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, vitamin C, D-Biotin, Taurine, L-Theanine, Inositol, Riboflavin, Calcium D-Pantothenate, Thiamine HCI, Folic acid.
These ingredients combine to help support:
- Promotes the normal function of the nervous system,
- Normal function fat metabolism and energy production,
- Supports normal blood formulation and cell division
- Normal neurological function
- Normal immune system function.
Now normal doesn’t sound spectacular.
However, when I was running around after Matthew and the kids, falling asleep at the wheel, I wasn’t functioning normally.
The consequences of continuing to try and function this way would have been catastrophic.
When things in the body aren’t normal, all kinds of things start to go wrong.
The changes that I was able to make in my life, without changing my circumstances was amazing. I couldn’t have done it without a supplements for energy.
Bonus: the kids love it & its packed with green veggies too
The second is called Sunset.
Taken in the evening, most people have it with their dinner.
Some night owls like myself, wait until later on, perhaps just before bed.
It has 5 ingredients.
The main ingredient being the Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon.
Which is harvested at the end of its life cycle so as not to disturb the ecosystem of the salmon. How cool is that?
Sunset contains only the lipid (or fat) soluble elements that your body needs to repair itself at night.
I haven’t learnt since taking this that poor quality sleep can be cause by the body struggling to find all the lipid soluble ingredients it needs to do it’s nightly repair work.
For people like myself who find that can feel the difference in less than two weeks, it shows just how desperate their body was.
Including vitamin E, tocotrienols, omega-3s, vitamin A (beta-carotene), vitamin D3. All of high quality, not the cheaper cousins that are found in most pharmacy grade fish oil supplements.
- Supports cardiovascular health
- Supports health inflammatory response
- Encourages healthy skin and hair
- Helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels
- Helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels
- Supports cognitive function
- Supports cell membranes
- Very potent vitamin E
- Promotes a healthy immune response.
NitroFX & Xtreme
The third part of the triangle:
When taken 10 minutes before both the sunset and sunrise, it increases the absorption and effectiveness of both.
It is recommended a third time during the day as well: mid to late afternoon as a pick me up.
Many use it before and after exercise too. I do, I find I am able to train longer and harder without so much of the discomfort that comes with pushing harder.
NitroFX is a blend of Noni berry concentrate that increases the body’s natural production of nitric oxide.
Nitric oxide repairs, defends and maintains every cell of the body & as we get older the production slows down.
NitroXtreme contains even more concentrated nitrate from the Noni blend for more increased production of nitric oxide in the body.
It also contains CoQ10, Magnesium, Zinc, Chromium, and vitamin B3 -Niacin.
- Promote energy
- Encourage blood flow
- Promote circulation
- Enable healthy inflammation response
- Encourage heart health
- Support healthy sexual function
- Support cognitive function
- Sustain the immune system
- Support nutrient absorption ‘
Why the Triangle as a supplement for energy?
We must change something, unless we make a change to:
- How much sleep we’re getting
- Exercising we’re doing
- The stress we’re under or
- What we put into our body,
we can’t expect anything to change.
The circumstances around us are unlikely to change.
This way our energy levels have only one way to go:
The Triangle of Health is a set of simple supplements for energy. Easily integrated into a busy life and has the potential to change our perspective on life.
I’ve seen hundreds of people take it and visibly watched people change. Especially as they commit to 3-6 month trial.
Often it has taken us years to get the way we are now, it would take a magic pill to undo the damage in one night or even one month.
We don’t have a magic pill but we do have this.
When I made the choice to try it, I watched my life open up again.
