A Day at a Time; Coping with Grief

Coping with the grief of losing a child.
I was honoured by a request to share my experience with Christina and her community at www.thisisreallifemama.com

Christina is a licensed therapist

Christina is a mental health professional, she also works from home to care for her children. She is a licensed therapist in California and still completes regular continuing education.

She is super passionate about breaking down barriers to communication. Providing a safe place from mums to be true to themselves. So excited to be partnering with her. Collaboration is a huge part of what she does. So she supports and shares the huge variety of experiences that is human life!

As I wrote I really wanted to focus on the overall journey so far. I am hopeful that my thoughts will bring hope to others walking the journey. Perhaps even to light the way a little. Especially for those who may carry with them the knowledge, they one day will follow along this difficult trail.

My perspective now, more weeks down the track, has changed. It is a much fuller picture than I had when I wrote about grief. But not as devastating and difficult as the day I wrote about pain. I know that each time I share and write different parts of the journey will surface.

This keeps me on the edge of my seat waiting for what happens next.
Just as much as the people surrounding me. I have no idea what is going to happen next, or how I will respond. I watch some close to me walk the same journey, and know that every story is as unique as we are.

No two the same.

I really appreciated the space to write this and share my story again. I hope you will check it out:
